Our Charolais Program:

Our Charolais Program is built around the ability for our cattle to calve easy, grow fast, and produce a profitable end product.  We do this with head to head testing of our bulls, females, and feeders.   The Charolais Breed is know to be a medium framed beef cattle that have very deep and broody body, that combine heavily muscled loins and haunches.   The ability of the breed to define themselves with superior growth, efficient feedlot gains and carcass cut-out values.  We believe our cattle carry these traits, making our bulls or females suited to a all purpose cross breeding programs. 

Our Charolais Cow Herd is and always be developed behind the principals of a solid, productive, efficient cow herd that is backed by generations of cow families.  Our emphasis on our cows ability to milk, bred, calve a calf, raise that calf, and do it all over again the next year or she goes to town, shows our focus on keeping the “right kind.”  When viewing our herd, be it a Fates, Temptress, or Ms family – we are viewing her with a perspective of generations of the family.  Our herd has not been disrupted by a large sale or dispersion, and we strive to keep the right kind families for generations of maternally linked cattle.
